This Privacy Policy explains how AirCod Technologies ("AirCod", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use the AVX Lite mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the data needed for the App to function. AVX Lite collects the following categories of personal and sensitive user data:

Account information — your name, email address, and phone number, which you provide when you register for and sign in to the App.
Precise location (GPS) — your device's precise GPS location, collected while you are using the App to perform and tag field measurements.
Photos, videos, and files — images, videos, or documents that you capture or select within the App in order to attach them to your records or reports.

We do not knowingly collect any data beyond the categories listed above.

2. Why we need these permissions

Location permission is used to record where a field measurement or report was taken. Location is collected only while you are actively using the relevant feature of the App.
Photos / media / files access is used so you can capture or attach images, videos, or documents to your records within the App.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's system settings. Some App features may not work if a required permission is denied.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account and authenticate you when you sign in;
Provide the App's core functionality, including recording, tagging, and storing your field data and attachments;
Associate measurements and reports with the location and media you provide;
Maintain the security, reliability, and integrity of the App and our systems;
Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. The data you submit through AVX Lite is stored on AirCod Technologies' own servers and is used only to operate the App.

We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

When required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request;
To protect the rights, property, or safety of AirCod Technologies, our users, or the public, as required or permitted by law.

5. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services, and as required to meet our legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it at any time by emailing us at info@aircod.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Upon verifying your request, we will delete your account information, location records, and uploaded media from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain data by law.

7. Children's privacy

AVX Lite is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and post the updated policy at this URL. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
